Will there be a Coraline sequel?

While there has been no official announcement regarding the making of Coraline 2, the stop-motion animated dark fantasy film (2009), based on Neil Gaiman’s novel of the same name, remains a popular horror choice again and again. With a dedicated fan base and many awesome collectible choices, the film’s unique blend of fantastical elements, eerie atmosphere, and compelling storytelling leaves audiences craving a sequel. 

So, why hasn’t it happened yet?

Despite the success and popularity of Coraline, there are no plans from the studio, director, or author regarding the creation of Coraline 2.
