Having been in the works for over two years, this Cult Screeningsin UK Ltd production in conjunction with Unannounced Films is sure to get your black heart pumping when it premieres in the months to come.

What we know so far about the documentary

Currently in the post-production phase, with the intent of being shown at various film festivals later this year, the movie follows the man behind the glove.

Director Gary Smart had this to say about the film: “[Giving] us a wonderful insight into the world of a classic Hollywood icon. We are both honored and privileged to have the full support and participation of Robert [Englund] in the making of this documentary. He is absolutely delighted with our tribute to his long and varied career.”

With Englund’s career spanning decades, most people best know his name for his fantastic depiction of the serial killer Freddy Krueger. However, in addition to this frightening role, he has also performed in other genre flicks such as Scream, and will be part of the cast in the upcoming fourth season of Stranger Things—set to premiere on October 26, 2022. While his origin story begins with horror, he has also participated in voice work for DC Comics alongside other projects.

The documentary will highlight Englund’s most memorable roles while interviewing several celebrities to ask about their encounters with the actor.
